Infinity Diamond Club is sponsoring a benefit for the Helen Wright Center for Women. This is our opportunity to work together to do an amazing thing to help the women who find shelter at the Helen Wright Center when they leave abusive situations or find themselves homeless.
The Helen Wright Center helps these women with their transition to self sufficiency and and they need our help with repairs on the dorm room and supplies. That being said, WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
I am asking all the members and friends of Infinity Diamond Club to come out to this Benefit on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 6:30 pm. Since this is a work day, it will be a drop in, grab some refreshments, and drop off your donation. Please partner with us as we work to make a difference in these women's lives.
The dorm we are renovating is a 28 bed dorm and is in desperate need of repair. SWOOP... Strong Women Organizing Outrageous Projects has volunteered to help coordinate and assist us with this outstanding project. With that being said, we are in need of the below listed items. Whatever you can do would be greatly appreciated.
The next time you pass by Lowe's, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, or Sherman Williams think of IDC and the benefit going on February 8, 2010 and plan to pick up an item or two and bring them to the benefit donation drop-off site.
Below is a list of items: If there are organizations who would like to partner with IDC and SWOOP please contact us ASAP as we need all the help we can get.
Our VOLUNTEER "WORK" DAY at the Helen Wright Center is Saturday, February 13, 2010. We need you there on that day to help volunteer your time and energy as we work together to give back to the community (painting, organizing, set-up and handle lunch flow, sweep etc..) Volunteer as long as you like or as short but lets do this TOGETHER, YES WE CAN, because WE ARE 1!!
